Dibs is a save-and-share app for the places, links, and things you want to remember. Your stash is private to you and the people you choose to connect with or share publicly. This page explains what it stores and how that data is handled. It is written plainly on purpose.

What we store

The things you save. Links, photos, notes, locations, and the details Dibs pulls in about them (titles, images, map coordinates).
Who saved what. Each item is tagged to one of the two people using the app, so the stash stays shared but attributable.
Messages sent to the bot. When you share something to Dibs over WhatsApp or Telegram, the message content (including a voice note or image) is processed so it can be saved into the stash.
Your account details. The email and handle you sign up with, and a phone number or Telegram ID if you link the bot.
Anonymous usage analytics. First-party events about how Dibs is used - for example which features are used and whether a save came from the web or a bot. We use these to understand and improve the product. They are not sold or used for advertising.

How it's used

To save your finds and show them back to you in the stash.
To enrich a saved link or place with a title, image, or map pin.
To answer your natural-language questions about what's saved.
To understand how Dibs is used, in aggregate, so we can improve it.

That's it. Dibs does not sell your data and does not show ads.

Where it lives

Saved items are stored in a Supabase database. To enrich links and answer questions, Dibs sends the relevant content to service providers - a search/enrichment provider and an AI provider (Anthropic) - which process it only to return the result.

Deleting things

You can remove any saved item from within the app, and it leaves your stash right away - gone from your feed, the map, search, and anywhere it was shared. We keep a minimal record of the removal (the item and any optional reason you give us) so we can spot what isn't working and make Dibs better; it is no longer part of your stash. To wipe everything for good, delete your account in Settings or contact us and we'll purge it.
